In your store day in day out, it can become quite isolated and tedious as well, so it’s important to get out of the shop (to events like this) and see what else is out there

The things that I always find interesting from these events and especially today are those chats that happen after the stage - it’s about talking to people on how the things I’ve said have impacted them, what are they going
to take back to their business and I’ll take notes on what I’m going to do, because really this is about me growing and the whole industry growing as well

The insights and what we get from today is amazing and some great brands here today as well. Sharing (insights) with our peers and fellow retailers from up and down the country is more than what you can get from just being
in your store. So what I’d advise - next time this event is on, retailers get involved, and get here!

We were promised exciting at the start and it’s definitely been that - some great points put forward, really interesting to speak to other retailers and learn how they’re adjusting to industry change and
how we can adopt some of that.
